Additionally, these animations allow for experimentation and passion, as personal visions and creative freedom drive them. These projects carry over into more mainstream projects, pushing the limits of the norm while looking to create the next trend.

Goldie the Globetrotter
10 Episode series. Kidoodle TV.
Goldie the Globetrotter is an animated kids show that combines hand-drawn characters with video and photography to teach kids about America's National Parks. I was enlisted to animate and composite ten - 7 to 10-minute episodes. I would start by building rough storyboards based on the script provided to map out each episode and note any ideas or elements. Next, I gathered all the source materials, reference images, elements to incorporate into the scenes, and stock video footage. Once the voice-over track was timed out in After Effects, it was time to animate. It took four months to complete ten episodes.
